Synonyms (Same Meaning):

  • Happy = Joyful, Elated, Content

  • Difficult = Hard, Challenging, Arduous

Antonyms (Opposite Meaning):

  • Accept ↔ Reject
  • Abundant ↔ Scarce

  • Brave ↔ Cowardly

2. Subject-Verb Agreement ✍️

Basic rule: Singular subject = singular verb, Plural subject = plural verb

  • Correct: The dog runs fast. (singular)
  • Correct: The dogs run fast. (plural)
  • Tricky: Each of the students is present. ("Each" is singular!)
  • Tricky: Neither Juan nor Maria was absent. (closest subject determines verb)
